- The opinions expressed here are my own (or those of the people I invite to write here); I do not speak for any other person, group or organization; nor do I imply that the opinions expressed here reflect those of any other person, group or organization unless I say so specifically.
- I write to share my thoughts on specific Bible passages as I interpret them standing on the shoulders of giants: the church fathers, the early church, and respected theologians.
- You may notice a tendency for writing more about orthopraxy and less about orthodoxy; in our world we have a lot of the latter and less of the former.
- I always wrestle with the Biblical texts logically and in their proper context trusting in the leadership of God to interpret what they meant then and what they mean now.
- I am a latino. I am an immigrant. I am brown. I have a PhD and two masters degrees. I am an introvert (INTP). I am a minority in the US.
- This is what I feel God is calling me to do at the moment. But if later God tells me to do something else I will probably do that and not this anymore, and I will be OK with that.
- I realize that many people will not give a crap about this, and I am still OK with that.
Thanks for being here. Remember, read for yourself, think critically, and meditate on the things that talk to your heart.
Peace,
